Join the ISG’s 12th World Conference of Gerontechnology

‘Measures to achieve better quality of life and active healthy aging’ is the theme of the 12th World Conference of Gerontechnology. The online conference will be organised by the International Society for Gerontechnology (ISG) and takes place from 6 – 9 October. It includes topics such as robotizing care and technology that focuses on fall prevention.

The program consists of contributions from 20 countries,13 symposia, 68 oral papers in 13 sessions, and 54 posters. There will also be a digital exhibition of products and solutions and presentations about topics such as sociological perspectives on gerontechnology, use of real-world data for advancing clinical practice, mobile applications for personal mobility and a technology acceptance model regarding older people.

Five presentations from Vilans

Vilans will also give five presentations, including a presentation about value-based eHealth, FreeWalker, Resilien-t, responsible innovation. and eWare. Professor and Vilans-researcher Henk Herman Nap is member of the executive board of the ISG.

The participation costs depend on being an ISG-member or not and vary between 188 and 400 euros. You can find more detailed registration information on the webpage of ISG. Originally the conference would take place in Trondheim, Norway, but due to corona, ISG has decided to organise the conference online.
