Sharing knowledge

Laatst bijgewerkt op: 19-03-2026

Working towards a more uniform approach to value assessment in long-term care is one of the aims of this method. For this reason, knowledge sharing is the final key step of the Value Palette Framework. If you share new knowledge generated through research, others can learn from it and build on it. In this way, you contribute to the national development of knowledge on care innovations – innovations that directly or indirectly improve the lives of people with a long-term care need.

Digital care knowledge base

One place to share the knowledge gained is Vilans’ Digital Care Knowledge Base. At Vilans, we share independent information concerning diverse digital and hybrid care, support processes and care technologies. This include new technologies in an exploratory phase as well as care technologies that are already widely implemented. The Digital Care Knowledge Base also publishes relevant research carried out by other organisations. Do you have research to share? This can be submitted via the Digital Care Knowledge Base (in Dutch).

Digizo.nu

Does the value assessment show positive benefits in practice? If so, a joint assessment and evaluation trajectory can be carried out through Digizo.nu. Digizo.nu carries out the evaluation and assessment with the support of health insurers, care offices, the care industry, and independent research organisations such as Vilans. The application is assessed on value. Suitable evidence for a value assessment consists of accessibility, quality, affordability, and sustainability. A positive outcome of this evaluation may lead to broader implementation of a care application.
